We’ll be discussing three applications for AI writers who aren’t blogging, writing, or producing books.
So what I’m using it for at this point in time is I’m using Jasper AI, formerly Jarvis, formerly Conversion.
I’m currently employing it to write a slew of emails, and how I’m doing it is that I’m just writing the key sentence and then letting it fill in two or three sentences.
So I wrote the highlighted portion, and the tool expanded on it and went with the email route.
It makes sense. It’s not distinguishable from anything I might produce or could create, whether it be written or spoken. And I believe that’s the only way to go about it. So, if you log in, give it a topic, and let it start doing its thing, it’ll spit out some stuff.
If you guide it, it’s like having a virtual assistant, an intern, or something like that. You have to tell them the next steps, and then they will take those next steps. You got to guide it in the direction you want to go.
You can’t just let it go willy-nilly or otherwise, you’ll end up with some random trash.
Resume writing services
You can easily create all the core components of a resume using AI.
- Cover letter (if you’re into that)
- Executive summary
- Job descriptions
- Turning achievements into bullet points
As you can see from the screenshot, I gave it a one-sentence prompt to write me “a cover letter for a job as an SEO Manager at Verizon, with a focus on the value I can bring to the company.”
It gave me a decent cover letter that requires a bit of editing but will easily pass the ✔ that a cover letter was submitted.
A resume writing service where you leverage the power of AI writers to fulfill client needs is easy. This can be expanded to LinkedIn, professional bios, and additional services.

Business writing services
Like resumes, most writing done in businesses is not unique or special. It’s converting numbers into paragraphs to tell a story and putting plans together. Basically, writing needs to be done, but no one wants to do it.
That’s where you come in. You can craft up things like

- Marketing plans
- Directory listings (real estate)
And all the business has to do is brief you on what to include. The AI can do (most of) the rest!
In the example above, we’re creating an imaginary case study and starting with the executive summary (which you wouldn’t do in real life 😅). Jasper was fed the core components of the case study and was able to produce content that’s largely indistinguishable from something you or I would write.
Next, we have a prompt for a real estate listing.

Minus the glaring mistakes I made (like it is supposed to be Power & Light and fully furnished is not supposed to be hyphenated), I think it’s a lot better than most AirBnB or real estate agents would come up with.
Email writing services
Last, you can create an email writing service leveraging the power of AI. Like the previous two examples, emails are typically not some grandiose writing assignment that needs seven revisions.

Most emails used for ecommerce websites are going to be sent to multiple people forever. These are called transactional emails: welcome series, thank you notes, shipping notifications, order confirmations, abandoned cart emails, etc.

An AI writer is going to craft a much better email than any sales rep that’s used to hammering the phones. Jasper can easily convert features to benefits, which matter more to prospects.
